About Me

Hello, name is Robyn Gill! I am an animal lover as well as an avid Dungeons and Dragons player. One of my greatest joys is bringing productions to life through the magic of costumes. Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to be a part of all the different stages a costume goes through in order to reach the spotlight.

Coming up this May, I plan to receive my BFA in Theatre and Dance, with an emphasis in costume, from Missouri State University. In my time at MSU, I have designed for four shows, three of which were fully staged productions. While designing these shows, I learned about all of the work and care that a designer puts into making their vison come to life. Then, I have been an employee in the MSU costume shop for all four of the years I attended the university. While working in the MSU costume shop, I learned many skills that are imperative to creating and maintaining costumes. And in my final year, I was able to be the wardrobe head for two shows and learn how to instruct a team of people on what needs to be done prior, during, and post show. Whatever time I didn't spend working on school productions I spent as a local dresser on touring shows. Working on these tours allowed me to see many diffrent ways of how to write tracks, and I have enjoyed using what I've learned to create my own tracks. I have found that my favorite parts of the process are being on a wardrobe team or working in a shop with the costumes.
