  • This was the first show that I was the local department head for. So it was important for me to know all about the facility and crew so that I could answer any and all questions the touring head of wardrobe had.

  • Due to Covid-19 a majority of the cast was out. This resulted in some large alterations to the dressing tracks. So while we did our best to follow our tracks, there was also a large amount of verbal instruction that was imperative to absorb and then immediately implement.​

  • This was the first show where I was present and part of a swing going on mid performance. We all had to adapt quickly to keep the show running smoothly​

  • Costume maintenance is important in all shows, but my eyes became very sharp in spotting repairs. Because we couldn't afford a single button falling off because it could break the turntable.

  • Within this show I was part of an onstage quick change for the first time.

  • Assist male ensemble with quick changes and pre sets throughout show

  • The quantity of costumes was overwhelming at first. But after running the show once it all became much more manageable.

  •  Being familiar with all the costumes was essential, so that we could put them away or pre set them again as quickly as possible.

  • This was the first tour I did maintenance on​. I found painting the shoes to be very enjoyable!

  • There were many relegious garments that required additional care and respect.​

  • The costumes were all similar shades of brown, so I had to pay very close attention to my paperwork.

  • ​The actress playing Tracy was not feeling the best during her time with me as her dresser. So I made sure to see to any additional needs she had. Such as making sure her water bottle was always present and full, as well as trying to provide a place for her to sit when possible.
